Genghis Kahn (blogs can count as essential question?)

If you participate in the blogs, I would be willing to grade that instead of a written essential question. What do you guys/gals think?

  1. i personally like writing the essential questions out. i am not really a computer person and dont spent much time on them but if we do it during class like half the time or something i will really learn alot. i think if one participates in the blog then that could take place of their question as long as effort was there and good thoughts...

  2. i think that would work alot better then doing both. If a person participates in the blog then they should get the information needed to do the test. If a person doesn't participate in the blog, they should just get down graded in the question part and that should be enough of a blow on the grade to set them back. Since all work is being done on here currently, we should just try doing the grades on blogs this month while we try blogging this unit in general.

  3. I like your thoughts. So, I will have both options available. If you particpate in the blogs, I will grade them on the same scale as an essential question. If you turn in a EQ, we can get feedback for the test. Either way will work. We can revisit this as the year goes on.
